Quantity Surveyor

Job Brief
We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage costs and commercial aspects of residential construction projects. You will be responsible for cost planning, budgeting, procurement, and financial control to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities
• Monitor project costs, variations, and cash flow
• Manage subcontractor procurement and payments
• Evaluate tenders, contracts, and supplier quotations
• Provide regular cost reports and forecasts to management
• Ensure commercial compliance with contracts and project requirements
• Work closely with project managers and site teams to control costs

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in UK construction projects
• Strong knowledge of cost control, procurement, and contract management
• Ability to manage budgets and financial reporting accurately
• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
• Familiarity with UK construction contracts and regulations
• Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field (preferred)
